1. Industry pain points

When purchasing solar street lights for rural areas and rural revitalization projects in Sichuan, 90% of the purchasers prioritize comparing the luminous wattage quotations. The same type of solar street lights with a nominal 60W on the market have a price range that varies by more than twice. Low-priced products generally adopt false peak power marking, with a nominal 60W actually having a normal working power of less than 30W. The road illumination does not meet the minimum 5lx national standard for rural roads.

Most purchasers only focus on the wattage of the lamp head, ignoring the five core components: photovoltaic panel, energy storage battery, controller, lamp post anti-corrosion, and heat dissipation structure. After implementation, problems frequently occur: direct power failure on rainy days, half of the light loss after half a year, water ingress and short circuit of the lamp, and rust and fracture of the lamp post. The project rework and replacement costs are far higher than the price difference saved in the initial purchase, and it also delays the municipal acceptance schedule.

2. Targeted solutions

Ignore the nominal wattage and verify the configuration of the five core components item by item. A complete system match is the qualified selection standard:

LED light source module: Do not look at the peak wattage, verify the rated working power, luminous efficiency (regular engineering ≥ 95lm/W), heat dissipation cavity structure, 5000 hours of illumination maintenance rate ≥ 90%, and avoid using bare lamp beads to count and reduce.

Solar photovoltaic panel: Prioritize A-grade monocrystalline panels, with a conversion efficiency of 21.5% or more, the configured power is 2 to 3 times the light source power, suitable for the frequent rainy and cloudy weak light environment in Sichuan, ensuring sufficient charging during the day.

Energy storage battery: Fixed outdoor road lighting selects brand-new A-grade lithium iron phosphate phosphate, based on the local number of rainy days to match the corresponding capacity, ensuring normal lighting during continuous rainy days.

Smart controller: Select MPPT maximum power tracking controller, charging efficiency 93% to 96%, with built-in overcharge, overdischarge, lightning protection, and time-shift dimming functions; Low-priced PWM controller has a charging efficiency of only about 75%, and is prone to damaging the entire circuit.

Lamp post and protection process: 6-meter posts with a wall thickness of ≥ 3.0mm, 8-meter posts with a wall thickness of ≥ 3.5mm, using hot-dip galvanizing + electrostatic spraying double-layer anti-corrosion, outdoor rust-free service life can reach 15 years, suitable for the windy and humid environment in the western Sichuan basin.

3. Trust endorsement

Sichuan Laihong Lighting is a local integrated solar street light manufacturer in Sichuan. The entire component is independently processed and assembled, and does not use false wattage marking to lower the quotation. All street lights are executed with a complete set of charging and discharging, waterproof, and light attenuation simulation detection. The products cover rural road renovation projects in all counties and cities in Sichuan, including Chengdu, Mianyang, Ganzi, Ya'an, and Dazhou. The project delivery on-time rate is 99.6%, and the factory comes with complete test reports and qualification documents. The entire configuration parameters are transparent and verifiable, avoiding various engineering hazards caused by judging only by wattage from the source.
